In summary, a bottling line company provides the machinery and support necessary to automate and streamline the bottling process for manufacturers of beverages, chemicals, or other liquid products.

How does a fully automatic bottling machine work ?

A fully automatic bottling machine typically works through a series of integrated processes including bottle feeding, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging. The following is a detailed description of its working process:

Bottle Feeding System
Bottle Supply: Empty bottles are usually placed in a large storage container or magazine. The machine's bottle feeding mechanism, often equipped with a conveyor belt or a screw feeder, continuously supplies the bottles to the next processing station.

Bottle Alignment and Orientation: As the bottles move along the conveyor, there are guiding rails and mechanical arms that ensure the bottles are properly aligned and oriented. This is crucial to ensure that the subsequent filling and capping operations can be carried out accurately.

Filling System
Liquid Supply: The liquid to be filled, such as beverages, oils, or sauces, is stored in a large storage tank. The storage tank is usually equipped with a level control system to ensure a constant supply of liquid.

Filling Mechanism: The bottles are transported to the filling station. According to the type of filling machine (such as gravity filling, pressure filling, or piston filling), the filling nozzle accurately fills the liquid into the bottles. For example, in a pressure filling machine, the liquid is forced into the bottles under pressure. In a piston filling machine, the piston draws and discharges the liquid to achieve accurate filling.

Filling Volume Control: The filling machine is equipped with a precise volume control system. This can be achieved through electronic sensors, flow meters, or by adjusting the stroke of the piston. The system ensures that each bottle is filled with the exact amount of liquid.

Capping System
Cap Supply: Bottle caps are stored in a cap magazine. The cap feeding mechanism delivers the caps to the capping station one by one.

Capping Operation: When the filled bottle reaches the capping station, a capping head picks up a cap and places it on the bottle mouth. Then, the capping head applies a certain amount of torque to screw or press the cap onto the bottle to ensure a tight seal.

Labeling System
Label Supply: Labels are usually wound on a roll. The labeling machine's label feeding mechanism unwinds the labels and transports them to the labeling position.

Labeling Process: As the bottle moves past the labeling station, the label is accurately pasted onto the bottle surface by a labeling head. The labeling machine can be adjusted to control the position and angle of the label. Some advanced labeling machines can also perform functions such as label printing and coding.

Packaging System
Bottle Grouping: After labeling, the bottles are grouped according to a certain quantity, such as into six-packs or cartons.

Packaging Operation: The grouped bottles are then transported to the packaging station. Cartons or packaging materials are supplied and folded to enclose the bottles. The packaging is then sealed, either by gluing, taping, or other sealing methods.

Palletizing: The packaged products are finally stacked onto pallets for easy transportation and storage. Palletizing robots or mechanical arms are often used to stack the packages neatly on the pallets.

Control System
Overall Coordination: The entire operation of the fully automatic bottling machine is coordinated and controlled by a central control system, usually a programmable logic controller (PLC). The PLC sends out control signals to each component of the machine to ensure that they work in sync.

Monitoring and Adjustment: The control system is also equipped with sensors and monitoring devices to detect the operation status of each station. For example, sensors can detect whether the bottles are properly filled, capped, and labeled. If any abnormalities are detected, the control system can automatically stop the machine or make adjustments to ensure the quality of the production.

In summary, a fully automatic bottling machine integrates multiple processes and uses advanced mechanical, electrical, and control technologies to achieve high-efficiency, high-precision, and continuous bottling production.

What is the purpose of bottling ?
Bottling, the process of enclosing liquids or beverages within containers, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing distribution of various products to consumers worldwide.

What is the principle of bottle filling machine?
Bottle filling machines can be divided into different types such as gravity filling machines, pressure filling machines and piston filling machines, etc. Here are the principles of these common bottle filling machines:

Gravity Filling Machine
Basic Principle: It utilizes the force of gravity to make the liquid flow from the storage tank into the bottles. The liquid in the storage tank is at a certain height, generating hydrostatic pressure. Under the action of this pressure and gravity, the liquid naturally flows downward through the filling nozzle into the bottle below.

Working Process: First, the bottles are conveyed to the filling position by the conveyor belt. Then, the filling nozzle is accurately positioned above the bottle mouth. The control system opens the valve of the filling nozzle, and the liquid in the storage tank flows into the bottle along the filling nozzle. When the liquid level in the bottle reaches the set height, the control system closes the valve of the filling nozzle to complete the filling process.

Pressure Filling Machine
Basic Principle: It fills the bottles by using pressure difference or pressure to force the liquid into the bottles. There are two common ways to achieve this. One is to increase the pressure in the storage tank to make the liquid flow into the bottle under pressure. The other is to evacuate the bottle first to create a low-pressure environment, and then use the pressure difference between the storage tank and the bottle to make the liquid quickly enter the bottle.

Working Process: In the case of increasing the pressure in the storage tank, the bottles are first transported to the filling station. The filling nozzle is inserted into the bottle mouth, and then the pressure in the storage tank is increased through a compressor or other pressure devices. The liquid is forced by the pressure to flow from the storage tank through the filling nozzle into the bottle. When the set filling amount is reached, the pressure control system reduces the pressure and the filling nozzle stops supplying liquid. For the method of evacuating the bottle first, the bottle is first evacuated by a vacuum pump. Then, the liquid in the storage tank enters the bottle under the action of atmospheric pressure or the pressure in the storage tank.

Automatic piston filling machine
Basic Principle: It uses a piston to draw and discharge liquid to achieve accurate filling. The piston moves in a cylinder. When moving in one direction, it sucks the liquid from the storage tank into the cylinder. When moving in the opposite direction, it discharges the liquid in the cylinder into the bottle through the filling nozzle.

Working Process: The filling machine's drive mechanism drives the piston to move. When the piston moves upward, it sucks the liquid from the storage tank into the cylinder through the suction pipe and one-way valve. When the piston moves downward, the liquid in the cylinder is forced out through the filling nozzle and flows into the bottle. The filling amount is controlled by adjusting the stroke of the piston. By precisely controlling the movement of the piston, accurate filling of different volumes can be achieved.

In addition to the above, there are other types of filling machines, such as screw filling machines which are suitable for viscous liquids and work by using the rotation of a screw to push the liquid out for filling.
